This is the step people miss. In Ohio the title is issued by the County Clerk of Courts, not the BMV. Bring the signed title (and any lien release) to the Summit County Clerk of Courts title office. A vehicle coming from another state needs an out-of-state VIN inspection first.

No. There are multiple deputy registrar agencies in the Akron area. We are the deputy registrar at 688 Wolf Ledges Parkway (Agency 7731), operated by NOADA. A different registrar operates at 1030 E. Tallmadge Avenue. Make sure you have the right address before you head out.
